Birkdale Ravine (Brimley & Ellesmere) Saturday, June 23, 10 am - 6 pm

We’re looking for motivated and energetic volunteers to assist with Midland Park’s annual arts festival, Birkdale Art in the Park. This event brings art lovers in Scarborough together in the spirit of collaboration, local pride, and a sense of community. For years, this event has been a way for residents of Midland Park to celebrate its unique qualities, and showcase our hidden gem – the Birkdale Ravine.

Volunteer Opportunities:

A. Friday, June 22, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm:

Posting banners and signage for event
Indoor and outdoor set up for event

B. Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 8:00 am - noon

Volunteer sign up, distribution of t-shirts, volunteer support and troubleshooting
Setting up booths for vendors (Tables and chair distributor) and assisting those with special needs
Parking lot attend (directing traffic)
Entertainment and events

C. Saturday, June 23, 2018 from noon - 4 pm:

Volunteer support and troubleshooting
Assisting with logistical issues as needed (eg, support for vendors, live entertainment, activities, food)

D. Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 4 pm - 7 pm:

Event wrap-up and tear-down
Location Clean up
Removal of banners and signage for event
