Art in the Park 2016 Birkdale Ravine

Birkdale Art in the Park is an annual community arts festival presented by Scarborough Arts, and Glen Andrew Community Association, along with the generous support from local organizations and associations.

 

Held in the Birkdale Ravine surrounding the Birkdale Community Centre, this festival provides a collaborative, inclusive space for artists in Midland Park and other areas in Scarborough to engage with many different audiences to showcase and sell their work. 

 

The diverse offering of unique and original art, crafts, photography, ceramics, drawings, paintings, henna art, sculpture, jewellery, to woodworking and textile from over 40 local artists and artisans. Combined with live music, arts, crafts activities and yoga sessions, for an unforgettable experience in celebration of the vibrant Midland Park community.

Scarborough Arts is a non-profit organization; the only arts organization of its kind specifically serving the Scarborough community. With a respected history and a friendly, capable staff, SA brings individuals and groups together to create and cultivate innovative arts and cultural programs in Scarborough.
